If you can't quite handle the larger size of a full scale bass, the Ibanez SRM20B Mikro Bass could be right for you.  It's shorter scale and tighter body size makes it easier to manage and perform on with smaller hands.  That being said, it could also be a great travel bass when space is at premium.  The bass is finished in a Walnut Flat finish which is smooth and comfortable to play over
